Lemon Cucumber Water

I saw this Lemon Cucumber Water on Facebook. It was called the “Flat Belly Diet”. I have to say if it were that easy to have a flat belly, I would drink this every day. But, that being said, it looked really good and as long as it tastes good, that’s all that matters. So, I gave it a try.

Flat-Belly-Water

I drink water all day at work and at home (before I switch to my wine). Some days water can get really boring. Make a pitcher of this water for a nice change of pace and maybe get a flat belly along the way, who knows…

This also gave me a great chance to use my beautiful new water pitcher given to me by Jane on my birthday. I love the flowers and the hummingbirds. It’s so very pretty.

Water-and-MintThe ginger and the mint make this a very tasty change to simple water. All good, fresh ingredients, you can’t go wrong.

Lemon Cucumber Water

Ingredients

  • 2 liters water
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 medium cucumber, sliced
  • 1 medium lemon, sliced
  • 12 small spearmint leaves

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pitcher, let blend together overnight. The next day drink the whole pitcher over the coarse of the day.
