It’s the weekend and the weekend calls for French Toast breakfast. We all get up and out of the house quick during the week and it’s nice to relax, have coffee and tea and enjoy a good breakfast on the weekend. This weekend I remembered I had white Canadian bread in the downstairs freezer. This is the taboo bread, we usually do the low carb, whole wheat bread. But sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself and today was the day.
So, french toast it was and you can add what ever you want to a basic french toast recipe. Top it with fruit, maple syrup or Agave. You can’t go wrong. Pour your OJ, sit down and have a leisurely breakfast with the paper.
